Spreading Joy: Our Senior Home Visit Program

We're excited to announce the expansion of our Senior Home Visit program for 2026! This heartfelt initiative is all about connecting generations, bringing holiday cheer, and showing our senior community that they are valued and remembered.

Our goal is to increase the reach and impact of these visits, ensuring more seniors feel the warmth of intergenerational connection, especially during the holidays. This year, we plan to visit 3-5 new senior care facilities in Whitby and Durham, in addition to our existing locations.

What to Expect

We're inviting youth and adult volunteers to join us in this special mission. Your participation will make a significant difference! Here's what we have planned for our visits:

Meaningful Connections: We'll be bringing together our dedicated volunteers and local youth to spend quality time with seniors.

Personalized Gifts: Every senior we visit will receive a personalized gift, a tangible token of our care and appreciation.

Engaging Activities: Our visits will include interactive segments like holiday sing-alongs and Q&A sessions led by the youth, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere.

Join Us in Making a Difference

Our objective is to engage at least 50 youth and adult volunteers in the Christmas Senior Home Visit program by December 31, 2026. With your help, we can bring smiles and positive emotional impact to seniors in our community.
